How Can You Make an Impact?
The Virginia Theatre, owned and operated by Champaign Park District, welcomes over 65,000 patrons and hosts hundreds of events annually, including the iconic Roger Ebert’s Film Festival in the spring. Thanks to generous donations to Champaign Parks Foundation, over $12 million has been invested in restoration, preserving this 103-year-old landmark as a premier cultural arts venue that attracts audiences from across the nation.
Donating to the Restoration Fund helps keep Virginia Theatre a vibrant cultural hub while keeping up with changing community preferences. The Fund facilitates major renovations and improvements, including the East Lobby renovation, sound and fly system upgrades, accessibility improvements, and more.
A donation of $1000+ to Virginia Theatre provides naming opportunities in the lobby.
