We know that teens are social creatures, and looking for the perfect place to engage! We’re offering multiple opportunities for teens to get out of the house and be a part of the community. They’ll laugh. They’ll learn. They’ll grow. And, who knows, they might even thank you.
Junior Lifeguard Academy
Ages 12-15

They will learn a thorough introduction to water safety, first aid, and aquatic rescue techniques from our veteran members of our award-winning lifeguard team. The goal of this program is to provide participants with the skills necessary to apply for lifeguarding positions with the Champaign Park District after they turn 16.

Volunteer
Your teen can give back while learning new skills and making an impact. We love to offer first-time experiences to teens, and volunteering is a great stepping stone to a first job. Volunteers can help in many ways: as baseball and soccer coaches, at the Virginia Theatre, and even with our Special Recreation with Special Olympics.
Check out our volunteer opportunities.
