Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA)
There are several requirements of Title II of the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990, including publishing a Program Statement, appointing an ADA Compliance Officer, establishing a Grievance Procedure, and developing a Transition Plan. The below ADA resources are available for download in pdf format and are available at Champaign Park District facilities. If an alternative format is preferred, please contact the ADA Compliance Officer for accommodation.

Program Statement
The Champaign Park District is committed to providing facilities, parks, trails, and programs to patrons of all abilities. The ADA Program Statement describes this commitment.
Grievance Procedure
If a patron wishes to file a complaint regarding the ADA, a Grievance Procedure and form are available for use.
Transition Plan
The Champaign Park District Transition Plan helps to ensure that facilities, parks, and trails comply with ADA Standards for Accessible Design. The initial Champaign Park District Transition Plan was initiated in 2011 and is updated annually as items identified as deficiencies are corrected. To receive a copy of the most recent Transition Plan, contact the Compliance Officer or Director of Operations.
