Equal Access
The Champaign Park District works cooperatively with Champaign-Urbana Special Recreation to offer equal access to our recreation programs and services for persons with disabilities. Check out CUSR Inclusion Services for participants who wish to register for Champaign Park District programs but need a little extra support.
For further information call 217-819-3980 or cusr@champaignparks.org.
Program Cancellations, Refunds
Refunds will be given only through the second meeting of any program unless the Park District cancels the program or the participant experiences a medical problem which prohibits program participation. When a medical problem exists, the refund will be a prorated amount based on the number of sessions remaining in the program less the service charge. There will be a $5 service charge for refunds issued due to participant cancellation (per participant/per occurrence) unless stated otherwise in program description. In cases where the minimum number of registrants is not received for a program, the Park District may have to cancel the program. In cases of program cancellations, full refunds will be issued to all registrants.
Weather Cancellations: Rainout Line
Programs may be cancelled due to inclement weather or unusable facilities. A decision regarding cancellation will be made two hours prior to the scheduled starting time for high school/adult programs and one hour prior to the start of youth programs. If deteriorating conditions force on-site cancellations, information will be put on the Cancellation Line (217-805-4100) as soon as possible. A Champaign Park District representative will remain on-site until the next scheduled event to inform participants of the cancellation.
