Champaign Park District is excited to invite local teachers to book Prairie Farm for spring field trips! A field trip to Prairie Farm offers educators and students a hands-on learning experience, with guided tours to see and interact with the farm animals and to explore the farm’s unique exhibits.
Students will enjoy up-close interactions with a variety of farm animals while learning about animal care and behavior. Each tour includes a special educational activity focused on the animal of your group’s choice. Activities can focus on goats, chickens, cows, pigs, and more!
The farm opens for field trips on Monday, April 20. Field trips can be booked Monday through Friday during the following time slots:
- 9:00–10:30 AM
- 11:00 AM–12:30 PM
- 1:00–2:30 PM
Tours must be scheduled at least two weeks in advance and are subject to availability.
Capacity: 30 people, including adults
Fee (R/NR): $50/$75
