Champaign Park District has announced a new community event coming this spring to Toalson Park (502 Bardeen Ln). The free event, called Marshmallows & Melodies, will take place on Thursday, May 7, at 6pm. Attendees can expect entertainment from Midwest Dueling Pianos, plus fire pits for roasting marshmallows and making s’mores. Midwest Dueling Pianos will also take song requests from the audience and encourage sing-alongs.
“As the weather warms up, it’s always nice to have activities to do outside,” said Morgan Pittman, Champaign Park District Events and Community Engagement Coordinator. “Marshmallows & Melodies will give individuals and families a fun outdoor experience before the hustle of summer begins.”
Eventgoers are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or blankets. All ages are welcome to attend.
