Champaign Park District has opened submissions for a new community art exhibition called “The View from Here.” This inaugural show will provide local and regional artists with the opportunity to showcase their work at the historic Springer Cultural Center, located at 301 N Randolph St.
Artists, enthusiasts, and seasoned creatives of all ages are welcome to submit their work. The entry-form deadline and fee are due Friday, March 6, 2026. The artwork delivery date is Monday, March 23, from 4:30-6pm. The exhibit will run from March 27 to April 23, with a free reception on Thursday, April 2, from 5:30-7pm.
“The View from Here is a way to bring artists together to share and appreciate their work,” said Michelle Olden, Champaign Park District Cultural Arts Coordinator. “We are excited to see the creativity in this engaging new showcase.”
The View from Here will replace the long-running Town & Country Amateur Art Show, providing a fresh exhibition opportunity for seasoned and beginner artists alike.
