Hit the road for some adventure, culture, and fun! Meet at Hays Recreation Center. Fee includes meal, admission, and transportation. Please bring money to tip server for meal.

May 29 – The Spirit of Peoria Cruise down the Illinois River with us for an all-you-can-eat buffet meal on the Spirit of Peoria. Entertainment includes live performance by ragtime pianist Paul Orsi.

June 26 – Harvest Market & Jarlings Custard Cup Emily Dupuis is the Harvest Market Registered Dietician, and she will teach you how to cook simple, nutritious meals for seniors. Take part in this tasty demo cooking class then top it off with a sundae or ice cream cone from Jarling’s.

July 24 – LaTeaDa Tea Room We will visit the LaTeaDa Tea Room in Clinton, IL. Let’s munch on lunch and check out some lovely antique shops.

August 28 – American Harvest Eatery & Frank Lloyd Wright House, Springfield, IL Get ready to enjoy an experience that encompasses quality food, drinks, & service from start to finish. We will visit a house built by famous architect Frank Lloyd Wright. His designs have been called, “the best all-time work of American architecture.”
