Calls From Santa

Phones are ringing, children singing – all is merry and bright! Hang your stockings and register soon ’cause Santa Claus calls tonight!

Watch your little one’s eyes light up with the magic of the season when they hear that it’s Santa Claus calling just for them! Calls will be made on Thursday, December 12 beginning at 6p. No calls will be made after 8p.

Interested in spreading holiday cheer? We are ALWAYS looking for volunteers/actors to help bring a twinkle to kiddos’ eyes for this event!

This award is intended to recognize the units of government who has successful intergovernmental agreements or partnerships with the Champaign Park District that maximize tax dollars and benefit residents throughout Champaign. i.e., Unit 4, City of Champaign, MTD, Sanitary District, UPD, Forest Preserve, Housing Authority, Champaign Police, 4o North, Visit Champaign County, Rantoul, Savoy, etc.
recognize a youth participant in cultural arts who should great effort, skill or helping other excel in cultural arts programs
recognize an adult participant in cultural arts who should great effort, skill or helping other excel in cultural arts programs
recognize a youth participant in sports who should great sportsmanship, teamwork and or effort during the past year

recognize an individual or group for supporting the efforts of the Park District
The "Best Friend of Champaign Parks" is awarded to a business or corporation that has demonstrated exemplary support of the Champaign Park District
A media group or individual that has advocated for parks and recreation.
recognize a community member or organization that helped build a new park or improve an amenity within our parks
recognize a community member who has helped improve the overall Champaign Park District
recognize a community member who helped make an impact on the arts in the community
recognize a community member who helped make an impact on our parks during the past year
recognize a community member who helped make an impact to our recreation programs or special events during the past year

CPD Staff Awards

Recognize employees with over 20 years of service to the District
recognize a current full time staff member who was outstanding during the past year in the their performance, customer service, leadership, etc.
recognize a current part time or seasonal staff member who was outstanding during the past year in the their performance, customer service, leadership, etc.
recognize a former staff member who went on the make a contribution as a parks and recreation professional or who was outstanding during their time working at the Champaign Park District.
