Cardboard Cup Race

Ages 8+, children under age 12 must have an adult in the boat.

Whether you’re a bonafide landlubber or a pirate king – Sholem’s cardboard boat race is just the thing! Gather your crew and create your craft using only cardboard, duct tape and rubber cement. Parents – what a great opportunity to show your kids that physics and engineering are fun and exciting!

Prizes will be awarded for:
• First, Second & Third Place: Fastest boats
• Pride of the Pool: Most creative design and best use of corrugated cardboard.
• Esprit de Boat: Team that has the most fun!
• Peacock Award: Best dressed boat passengers – must be creative!
• Titanic Award: Most spectacular sinking.

All entries are free with paid admission to the pool; spectators must pay regular admission.
