CPD Youth Theatre Presents: Seussical Jr.

Seussical has become one of the most performed youth theatre productions and the Champaign Park District’s Youth Theatre is proud to be producing this imaginative and whimsical show. Weaving together over 20 Dr. Seuss books, Seussical jr. tells the story of a child’s journey through the imagination guided by the beloved Cat in the Hat. When the child’s imagination unfolds, we find Horton the Elephant in the Jungle of Nool hearing small voices on a small speck of dust. But WHO could it be? He sets out on a journey to protect the small speck of dust avoiding monkeys, kanagaroos, and being put on trial but always staying true and remembering that “a person’s a person no matter how small.”
