Open Gym Information
Open gym is for members and non-members. Non-members may pay daily rate of $8; Military Discount: $6.
Open gym hours will be posted every month. Please check the open gym schedule for designated Basketball, Pickleball, and Table Tennis times. Open gym requires a second pair of shoes. Patrons are encouraged to bring their own equipment, but a limited number of basketballs, pickleball racquets and balls, and other equipment is available by request.
- All non-member day pass participants must create a park district household account (if they do not already have one) by filling out a Day Pass Form. The account must be created by an adult/parent/guardian on their first visit. All day pass participants must have a valid photo ID except children supervised by parents.
- Open gym participants 11-17 years old in Middle School and High School may participate without parental supervision, but must have a valid Day Pass Form on file.
- Elementary school children and younger must be supervised by a parent to participate in open gym.

Monthly & Annual memberships provide access to Martens and Leonhard:
Martens:

- Indoor Playground access during all open hours

Membership gives access to Martens Center and Leonhard Recreation Center. Kids 3 and under do not require a pass.
A fee is applied any time a Membership fob is replaced due to loss or theft. Membership fobs are able to be used each year; new ones are not reissued without paying a fob replacement fee.
Silver Sneakers
Champaign Park District works with Silver Sneakers to cover the cost of membership fees for adults 65+. Silver Sneakers gives access to Martens Center, Leonhard Recreation Center, and Sholem Aquatic Center. If one is interested in using this program, they will need to register with Silver Sneakers to obtain a membership ID and work with their insurance company to cover the cost. Please bring Silver Sneakers membership ID when registering for a Silver Sneakers membership.
Rentals & Party Packages
The Martens Center hosts rentals as small as a 5-person meeting or as large as a sports tournament or trade show. From graduation parties to retirements, baby showers to corporate events, our experienced staff will make your next event a success! Gym, court, and room spaces are available. For the benefit of our members, we do not offer private playground or full-facility rentals.
