School is out and The Great Debate is on! Which is the best? Oreo v. Chips Ahoy! Kids will come and learn all about how the voting process works, play fun games, create their own campaign poster, and in the end we will discover what the ultimate cookie is! Each child should bring a snack and lunch. No peanut/nut products, please.

If you are at least 13 years of age, enthusiastic, hardworking, and willing to learn, we can coordinate volunteer hours for you. This is a great opportunity to acquire new skills, gain valuable work experience, and complete high school volunteer hours. Teen volunteers are permitted to work a maximum of 25 hours per week. Sports & Fitness
Join us for our Champaign Park District Youth Hoops Basketball Clinic. This program will focus on the development of players’ fundamental skills of dribbling, passing, shooting, and defense. Staff will be hands on, encouraging a friendly yet competitive environment. This clinic will be filled with drills and games, and will conclude with a competition day. This is a great introduction to our Youth Hoops Basketball Leagues.

Tone and sculpt your whole body with Strength Training. Participants learn the building blocks you need to help you transform your body. This class is designed for all fitness levels.

2nd-8th Grade
Have fun and learn to play the game! The Champaign Park District and Prime Time Volleyball Club have teamed up to provide a volleyball program designed to focus on the technique and skills of each player. All coaches are selected by the Prime Time Volleyball Club. These clinics will concentrate on developing the ability to pass, set, spike, and serve the ball. The clinic will start by introducing players to the basics and move to more advanced skills.

50 Plus!
Join our 50 Plus Program! Individuals aged 50+ living in Champaign-Urbana can join for an annual fee of only $10 beginning November 1. Socialize, adventure, and learn with the Champaign Park District!

Events & More
What’s better than a cupcake with friends? Or a fundraiser that supports kids and adults with disabilities who just want to have fun? Why not have both! The CUSR Cupcake 5K is going to be one sweet time! This is a timed, accessible race ending with a delicious cupcake.
Funds raised will go into the Champaign-Urbana Special Recreation’s scholarship fund, which supports individuals who need financial support to access CUSR programs and services. Runners, walkers, and registrants who may use a wheelchair are welcome. All registrants must provide a valid email address in order to receive crucial pre-race information. Updated information will also be posted on CUSR’s Facebook page.
