Worker's Memorial:
- Champaign County Worker's Memorial by Local Chapter AFL-CIO made possible by a $25,000 IL First grant in 2001
- The Champaign County Workers Memorial Committee, in cooperation with the Champaign Park District has constructed a memorial to acknowledge those people who, in the course of their work, have lost their lives. Construction drawings for the project were prepared by Parkland College faculty and students in the Computer Aided Drawing classes. Labor and a portion of the materials needed to construct the memorial was donated by members of various labor unions and local material vendors. Dedicated on Labor Day 2002.
