Expanded from its original size of four in 1981.
Expansion was funded in part by a donation of $50,000 by Donald & Helen Lindsay. An additional $210,000 in funds came from a land and water Conservation Grant from the U.S. Dept. of Interior and the IL Dept. of Conservation. No tax money was used in the construction or renovation of the facility.
