The Wonderful World of Babysitting
Ages 11-15
Become the babysitter that kids beg their parents to have! This class will teach the basics and give participants the confidence to successfully take on any babysitting job. Certified staff teach skills to become a safe, fun, and nurturing sitter. Our program features basic first aid, safety, age-appropriate games, and discipline techniques.
The Champaign Park District is an accredited program site through Safe Sitter, the only national, nonprofit organization exclusively devoted to babysitting. You must attend all sessions in order to complete the course and to be certified by Safe Sitter.

Pedal & Explore Weeks
Embark on a new journey with our Teen Trailblazers: Summer Bike Camp! This unique program blends a variety of morning activities with exciting around town excursions, offering an on-the-road adventure like no other. Monday to Thursday, our adventurers will dive into the refreshing waters of Sholem Aquatic Center for afternoon swims, and Fridays will be a full day biking expedition!
Trips & Travel Weeks
Our Teen Trailbazers: Trips & Travel Camp is where exploration meets excitement! Our out-of-town travel camp offers an unparalleled experience for young adventurers seeking to discover the world around them.
From hiking to ropes courses, our carefully curated trips offer a perfect blend of outdoor exploration and cultural immersion. Campers will have the chance to discover hidden gems, learn about local customs, and create lasting memories with fellow travelers.

The Champaign Park District Youth Theatre program gives young children the opportunity to learn the basics of live theatrical presentation – on the stage of a freshly-restored historic theatre! Through immersion in everything from acting and singing to set-design and prop creation, participating children take away a new appreciation for the arts at the completion of each 7-week course.
