Projects Impacting Public Use

All project timelines are subject to change due to weather, contractor availability, and material supply. Projects that will close down areas for less than a week will not be included in this list.
Robeson Park Playground and ADA Compliant Sidewalk
Removal of the playground will begin on Monday October 4, 2021. It will be closed for several months. All new playground equipment will be installed and improvements to the sidewalk approaching the playground will be done.
Lindsay Tennis Courts at Centennial Park – COMPLETE
All eight courts will be completely removed and replaced.
Spalding Park Improvements
Major overhaul of the south side of the park includes walking path with lighting, new playground, new shelter.
Certain areas closed to use beginning August 2021. Completion time to be announced.
Hessel Park Tennis and Pickleball Courts – COMPLETE
There will be a resurface of the pickleball area, and two pickleball court lines painted on tennis court three.
