We’re excited to welcome Shy Carter to Flannel Fest as the Opening Night Headliner!
Warner Music Nashville multi-talent Shy Carter breaks out on his own as a sought-after Country artist, songwriter, and producer. Lauded for his “top-shelf songwriting and versatile vocals,” according to Billboard, the bona fide hitmaker is one of the most formidable rising talents with credits that span Kane Brown’s “Heaven,” Charlie Puth’s “One Call Away,” Billy Currington’s “It Don’t Hurt Like It Used To,” Sugarland’s “Stuck Like Glue,” and Rob Thomas’ “Someday,” among others.
With the release of his debut EP, ‘The Rest Of Us,’ and appearing across music festivals this summer, Carter is spotlighted in the Amazon Music Original feature-length documentary, For Love & Country. Recently making his Grand Ole Opry debut, he’s already had early success as an in-demand collaborator with features such as Tim McGraw’s “Way Down,” plus Keith Urban’s “Never Comin Down” and “My Wave,” while also working with Jason Derulo, Meghan Trainor, Jamie Foxx, Jennifer Lopez, Nelly, Cole Swindell, and more.
“Thoughtfully [stretching] and [challenging] the borders of the country genre,” as described by Taste of Country, Carter’s roots in Gospel, Jazz, and R&B run deep, as he pumps Pop flavors into his Soul-saturated sound. The born entertainer is a 2022 CMT LISTEN UP artist; was named on Variety’s 2018 Hitmakers list; and deemed an Artist to Watch by Amazon Music, MusicRow, and Pandora.
Shy Carter will be performing on the Main Stage at Flannel Fest >> on:
