Here are 6 projects your family can do to STEAM up your home:
1. Make a sundial
Track the sun’s progress throughout the day with a sundial!
2. Track rainfall
On days when it rains, place cups in different areas of your yard to measure what spots get the most rain.
For extra fun, take note the differences in the terrain and foliage of each area the cups are placed.
3. Learn Bubble Magic
Bubbles are magical and fun for everyone! Learn how to make crazy bubble tricks and even a cube bubble!
4. Imitate a famous artist
Pick a famous artist and try your hand at their style!
5. Ice Ice Baby
Freeze different types of liquids to see how long each take to become frozen.
6. Illuminate a light bulb with a potato
This one takes some uncommon items but if you have everything lying around, why not learn about the power of the potato!
