Open yearly from May to August since 1966, Prairie Farm has played a key role in educating children about agriculture while providing fun hands-on interactions with nature and animals.
Champaign Park District is excited to expand on the farm’s legacy by improving the petting area, adding more enrichment activities for the animals and interactive and educational exhibits for children. Donations can also support accessibility improvements to the pond’s bridge and improved sidewalk access to the garden and playground.

Donate today! A monthly contribution of any amount will help maintain the farm. A donation of $1000 or more can help bring these updates to fruition before the 2025 season!
