Sholem Aquatic CenterÂ
Cool off at Sholem Aquatic Center on opening day! Experience the thrill of tube slides, unwind in the lazy river, and make a splash in our expansive main pool. Â
In addition to pass-holder perks, Sholem Aquatic Center also offers a variety of aquatics activities for youth and adults. From swim lessons to swim team to water sports to movie nights, there’s something for everyone to enjoy. Browse all 2025 aquatics activities today.
Sholem Aquatic Center is open 11am-7pm on May 24. Pool pass holders will get to attend an EXCLUSIVE pre-opening party on Friday, May 23, from 5-7pm.
Prairie FarmÂ
Prairie Farm is a Centennial Park staple and features a variety of farm animals and activities for everyone to explore. Be the first to explore the farm this season by visiting us on opening day!
You can expect a variety of animals, including pigs, goats, ducks, chickens, cows, donkeys, horses, rabbits, alpacas, sheep, and miniature horses. Petting zoo hours are every day from 3 to 5pm.
The learning opportunities at Prairie Farm are endless. This year, the farm will include brand-new sensory exhibits that all ages can enjoy. Follow Champaign Park District on Facebook, Instagram, or Twitter to get updates on the exhibit creation process!
Children can also participate in weekly programs like Pee-Wee Farmers on Saturdays and Story Time at the Farm on Mondays.
Fun Fact: Prairie Farm also offers a morning day camp for kids aged 4-10. Some weeks still have spots available. Check them the camp here.
Prairie Farm is open 1-7pm on May 24. Admission is free, but donations to help us keep operating are appreciated.
