From public swim times to learn-to-swim programs, and after-hours rentals to birthday parties, the Sholem Aquatic Center is the area’s premier place to beat the summer heat!
Sholem is jam-packed with features that are guaranteed to make a splash: a zero depth pool with play-and-spray features, an 8-lane 25-yard lap pool, a kiddie pool with slide, a tube slide that’ll send you into the lazy river, and enclosed body slides (must be at least 42” tall to ride). Visit our concession stand with plenty of seating in the sun or shade.

Closed on July 27 for conference swim meet (July 28 rain date)

- Open Swim – $9/$13.50 (R/NR)
- Twilight Rate (4-7p everyday, all day on Fridays) – $6/$9 (R/NR)
- Military/First Responder – $6/$9 (R/NR)
- Morning/Evening Program Admission – $5
- 3 & Under – FREE

Teen ID Rules
In order to ensure a positive experience for all patrons, all guests ages 13-17 visiting Sholem Aquatic Center must have a Champaign Park District household account with current photos on file to gain entry into the pool, regardless of whether or not an adult accompanying the child/children is going to stay with them. This procedure includes older siblings, nannies, etc. who are supervising younger children ages 13-17. Outside Camps
Any outside daycare/camp wanting to visit the Sholem Aquatic Center must first contact the Aquatics Manager, Ryan Hays at ryan.hays@champaignparks.org, one week in advance of their visit. Outside groups must complete an outside use agreement with the Champaign Park District before their visit and meet with the Aquatics Manager for a facility overview and to go over safety expectations. On the first visit, all camp participants must complete a swim test and have a brief overview of facility rules and expectations with the pool manager on site.
Outside groups that have not completed this agreement could possibly denied entry into the Sholem Aquatic Center Facility. Outside groups that fail to give advance notice may be denied entry as well.

Open-Hour Rentals
Relax on the lawn and get exclusive use of a picnic area that includes a shaded picnic table for you and your guests. Reservations are available during our open swim hours. Outside food (cake!) and beverages are welcome (excluding alcohol and glass containers), but please clean-up after yourselves.

Silver Sneakers
Sholem Aquatic Center works with Silver Sneakers to cover the cost of membership fees for adults 65+. If one is interested in using this program for Sholem Aquatic Center, they will need to register with Silver Sneakers to obtain a membership ID and work with their insurance company to cover the cost. Please bring Silver Sneakers membership ID when registering for Sholem Aquatic Center membership.
