Basic Birthday Package
All Ages
Looking for a no frills option? Try our Basic Birthday Party package. The party room includes television with HDMI cable, refrigerator, microwave, tables, chairs and kitchenette. Family is responsible for all decorations, cake, and all other food items

Fee (R/NR): $60/$90 per hr (minimum of 2 hrs)

- Kids in your party at the Leonhard Recreation Center or Martens Center can explore the Indoor Playground for a $60/$90 additional charge but it is not exclusive (i.e., will be open to the public)

Private Birthday Parties
From May 25 – August 11, 2024
Celebrate your special day surrounded by the charm and excitement of the farm at Prairie Farm! Join us for an unforgettable birthday bash filled with fun activities, adorable animals, and plenty of laughter.
Enjoy exclusive access to the farm for a private celebration with just your guests prior to the farm opening at 1:00 pm. Private parties are offered from 11:30am – 1pm on Saturdays and Sundays. Parties must be scheduled at least 2 weeks in advance. Available May 25 – August 11, 2024. Get ready for a day of farm-fueled fun and adventure! We can’t wait to celebrate with you at Prairie Farm! Includes:
- Private access to Prairie Farm for you and your guests
- Meet and greet our friendly animals, including goats, sheep, chickens, and more!
- 30 minute staff led interactive farm-themed game or activity
- Partially shaded picnic area for you to decorate

Public Birthday Parties

Join us during our designated public hours with access to our reserved party space which is partially shaded by a tent and has picnic table seating. Celebrate your special day surrounded by the charm and excitement of the farm at Prairie Farm! Join us for an unforgettable birthday bash filled with adorable animals and plenty of laughter. Get ready for a day of farm-fueled fun and adventure! We can’t wait to celebrate with you at Prairie Farm! Includes:
- Meet and greet our friendly farm animals, including goats, sheep, chickens, and more!
- Access to our reserved party space which is partially shaded by a tent and has picnic table seating.
- Access to all farm attractions and activities during the designated time slot.
Public parties are offered in time blocks daily. Available blocks are 1-2pm, 2:30-3:30pm and 4-5 pm. Parties must be scheduled at least 2 weeks in advance.

Sholem Aquatic Center | 2205 Sangamon Dr
Come celebrate with us! Relax on the lawn and get exclusive use of a picnic area that includes a shaded picnic table for you and your guests. Reservations are available during our open swim hours. Outside food (cake!) and beverages are welcome (excluding alcohol and glass containers), but please clean-up after yourselves. Does not include admission but ask about our group rate!
Minimum picnic rental is 2 hours, but you may edit the duration for a longer stay.
