Two Champaign Park District Park Board Commissioner positions will be on the ballot in the April 6, 2027, election.
The Champaign Park District Board of Commissioners is made up of five elected residents who serve six-year terms and are responsible for setting the budget, goals, and policies that meet the needs of Champaign residents. Serving as a Park District Commissioner is an opportunity to help guide the District’s vision, oversee public resources, and make decisions that impact parks, recreation, and cultural arts for years to come.
Individuals interested in running for Park Board may pick up candidate petition packets beginning August 25, 2026, at the Champaign Park District Bresnan Meeting Center Offices or request a digital packet using the form below.
